Agneepath (Hindi: अग्निपथ) é o remake do filme de 2012 Hindi 1990 do mesmo nome. É produzido por Karan Johar e dirigido pelo ex-assistente de Karan Johar Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan desempenhará o papel originalmente interpretado por Amitabh Bachchan. [2] Priyanka Chopra será a protagonista feminina. [3] A personagem interpretada por Mithun Chakraborty foi totalmente feito com a distância no remake. O primeiro olhar de caráter Hrithik Roshan foi revelada em 5 de julho de 2011. Produtor Karan Johar postou um link no Twitter para página Agneepath do Facebook, que continha uma imagem de Hrithik como Vijay Dinanath Chauhan. As filmagens começaram em janeiro de 2011. Tem sido dito que esta é uma adaptação do Agneepath que foi lançado em 1990. Hrithik Roshan e Sanjay Dutt tanto empreendeu um regime estrito exercício para ganhar músculos para o filme. A data de lançamento inicial do filme era 11 de novembro de 2011. Ele foi empurrado para 26 de janeiro de 2012. Em 18 de outubro, foi relatado que Hrithik Roshan se tinha ferido durante a filmagem, o tiro vai agora ser adiada por 15 dias. Diretor Kran Malhotra tinha twittou que o segundo trailer de Agneepath será lançado no final de dezembro ao lado de Don 2. [8]

Agneepath (Hindi: अग्निपथ) is the 2012 remake of the 1990 Hindi film of the same name. It is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan will play the role originally played by Amitabh Bachchan.[2] Priyanka Chopra will be the female lead.[3] The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been totally done away with in the remake. The main villain will be played by Sanjay Dutt[4] and Rishi Kapoor will play another negative character.[5] It has been reported that Zarina Wahab will play Hrithik's mother.[6] Shooting took place in Mumbai's film city and Gujarat's Diu, India.

The first look of Hrithik Roshan's character was revealed on July 5, 2011. Producer Karan Johar posted a link on Twitter to Agneepath's Facebook page, which contained an image of Hrithik as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan. The first official trailer was launched on August 29, 2011. The official website is www.agneepaththefilm.com[7]

Filming started in January 2011. It has been said that this is an adaption of Agneepath which was released in 1990. Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt both undertook a strict exercise regime to gain muscle for the film. The initial release date of the film was November 11 2011. It was pushed to January 26 2012. On October 18th it was reported that Hrithik Roshan had injured himself during shooting; the shooting will now be delayed by 15 days. Director Kran Malhotra had tweeted that the second trailer of Agneepath will be released at the end of December alongside Don 2.[8]

Katrina Kaif is doing an item song choreographed by Ganesh Acharya in Agneepath called "Chikni Chameli" which will also feature Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt. The first Promo of chikni chameli was released on 13th December.[9]

All the songs are composed by the duo Ajay-Atul while lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. "Chikni Chameli" was released separately as a single on Saavn.com[10]

The music of Agneepath got rave reviews from some of the top reviewers of Tinsel Town. Joginder Tuteja gave 3.5 stars quoting "'Chikni Chameli' would be a good enough reason to set up brisk sales for the album. "[11]. Gurpreet Bhuller of Moviehattan.com also praised Chikni Chameli and gave 3.5 stars saying that "Agneepath is undoubtedly the best work of Ajay-Atul, give these guys an applause"[12] Music Aloud rated the album 8.5/10 praising " After a couple of false starts earlier this year, Ajay Atul have truly arrived in Bollywood with Agneepath! " [13]Musicperk.com gave the album a rating of 7.5/10 quoting "No second thoughts,go ahead and buy the album".[14]
