O filme é baseado em um livro. Balu (Varun Sandesh) é filho de casal de classe média amável (Prakash Raj & Jayasudha). Swapna (Shweta Basu Prasad) é a filha de um pai rigoroso e rico. Ambos estudam num colégio residencial localizado em Visakhapatnam. Balu e Swapna se apaixonar. Swapna é tirado do colégio depois de uma foto deles é publicado no jornal. Balu é dito que, para escrever o seu exame, ele tem que trazer seu pai para o colégio. Ele vai para casa e diz a seus pais uma história completamente diferente. Enquanto seus pais continuar a pensar que ele está estudando para o exame ele está ocupado sonhando com Swapna e olhando para ela. Por fim, ele traz o pai para o colégio, para não escrever o exame, mas para ver Swapna! Seu pai é um ignorante que está acontecendo e ainda acredita Balu. Balu atende Swapna e seus pais. Pais Swapna de arranjar outro casamento para ela. Quando o pai de Balu vem para saber o que realmente está acontecendo, ele acha que seu filho deve ser tratado com amor ao invés de medo.
The film is based on a book. Balu (Varun Sandesh) is son of lovable middle-class couple (Prakash Raj & Jayasudha). Swapna (Shweta Basu Prasad) is the daughter of a strict and rich father. Both of them study in a residential college located at Visakhapatnam. Balu and Swapna fall in love. Swapna is taken away from the college after a picture of them gets published in the newspaper. Balu is told that, in order to write his exam, he has to bring his father to the college. He goes home and tells his parents a completely different story. While his parents keep thinking that he is studying for his exam he is busy daydreaming about Swapna and looking for her. At last he brings his father to the college, not to write the exam but to see Swapna! His father is clueless what is happening and still believes Balu. Balu meets Swapna and her parents. Swapna's parents arrange another marriage for her. When Balu's father comes to know what is actually happening he thinks his child should be dealt with love rather than fear.
