Ricky Bahl (Ranveer Singh) tem a aparência e ele tem o charme. Ele poderia ter a escolha das damas. Mas o amor não é prioridade do Ricky - o dinheiro é! E ele adota uma série de personas para apoiar um estilo de vida extravagante por conning suas muitas "namoradas" de grandes somas de dinheiro. Para Delhi estudante Dimple Chaddha (Parineeti Chopra), ele é o treinador de fitness ensolarado Singh. Trabalhadora, de 24 anos de idade, viúva de Lucknow Saira Rashid (Aditi Sharma) conhece como tímido Iqbal Khan. E bem sucedida, independente da carreira mulher Raina Parulekar (Dipannita Silva) acha que é arte Shah Deven revendedor. Mas um encontro casual une o trio e, descobrindo a verdade, eles criam um plano para obter seu dinheiro de volta. Então agora Ricky desavisados está prestes a conhecer o seu combate na forma de shapely Ishika Desai (Anushka Sharma).

O filme começou a atirar início de abril com planos de ser nos cinemas mundialmente em 09 de dezembro de 2011, o mesmo fim de semana filmes Anushka Sharma Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi e Band Baaja Baaraat liberada. [3]
Durante as filmagens da seqüência de scooter, Ranveer queimado o pé quando o skid scooter em alguns cascalho e caiu sobre ele. Um médico foi chamado imediatamente, mas no set Ranveer mantido tiro e garantiu que o cronograma não foi adiada. [4]
Durante um dos tiros no jet ski, uma onda grande hit Ranveer e Anushka e atirou-os em diferentes direções no meio do mar. No entanto, ambos enfrentaram ondas de 20 pés, apesar do jet ski sendo virou e deu o tiro perfeito. [5]
Maneesh Sharma, diretor do filme, decidiu acrescentar barcos contra a praia em uma das fotos para torná-lo mais interessante - esta adição de última hora feita para uma foto perfeita e os barcos se tornaram parte integrante de uma cena decisiva do filme que envolve todo o elenco. [6]
Durante a filmagem, em Lucknow, a área Imambara inteiro teve que ser isolada. Enormes multidões apareceu para assistir Ranveer Singh atirar e continuou chamando-lhe "Bitoo! Bitoo aa gayaa! "Rambo era um claro favorito e trabalhou muito bem a multidão, obrigando os fãs com ondas, abraços e fotos! Depois de arrumar as malas, todo o elenco festejava no famoso Lucknow de "Tunda Kababi". Anushka Sharma foi um piloto scooter pro (ela já havia também dirigido um scooter com altivez em 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi ") durante uma cena importante, ela dirigiu com o DOP (que estava segurando uma câmera extremamente pesado) sentado atrás dela. Seu senso de condução astuto, permitiu-lhe gravar um espelho retrovisor da moto de forma rápida e eficiente. [8]

Ladies vs Ricky Bahl is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It will star Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in lead roles and marks the debut of Priyanka Chopra's cousin, Parineeti Chopra.[1] The pair will be seen together, once again, after their last hit together Band Baaja Baraat. The film is set to release on December 9, 2011[2]. It is inspired by John Tucker Must Die.

Ricky Bahl (Ranveer Singh) has got the looks and he's got the charm. He could have the pick of the ladies. But love isn't Ricky's priority - money is! And he adopts a variety of personas to support an extravagant lifestyle by conning his many 'girlfriends' out of large sums of cash. To Delhi student Dimple Chaddha (Parineeti Chopra), he's fitness trainer Sunny Singh. Hard-working, 24-year-old Lucknow widow Saira Rashid (Aditi Sharma) knows him as shy Iqbal Khan. And successful, independent career woman Raina Parulekar (Dipannita Sharma) thinks he's art dealer Deven Shah. But a chance encounter unites the trio and, discovering the truth, they hatch a plan to get their money back. So now unsuspecting Ricky is about to meet his match in the shapely form of Ishika Desai (Anushka Sharma).

The film started shooting early April with plans to be in theatres worldwide on 9 December 2011, the same weekend Anushka Sharma's films Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Band Baaja Baaraat released.[3]
During the shoot of the scooter sequence, Ranveer burnt his foot when the scooter skid on some gravel and fell on him. A doctor was called on set immediately but Ranveer kept shooting and ensured that the schedule was not delayed.[4]
During one of the shots on the jet ski, a big wave hit Ranveer and Anushka and flung them in different directions in the middle of the sea. Yet both of them braved 20-foot waves, despite the jet ski being capsized and gave the perfect shot.[5]
Maneesh Sharma, the director of the film, decided to add boats against the beach in one of the shots to make it more interesting - this last minute addition made for a perfect shot and the boats became an integral part of a decisive scene in the movie that involves the entire cast.[6]
While shooting in Lucknow, the entire Imambara area had to be cordoned off. Massive crowds appeared to watch Ranveer Singh shoot and kept calling him “Bitoo! Bitoo aa gayaa!” Rambo was a clear favorite and worked the crowd very well by obliging fans with waves, hugs and pictures! After pack up, the entire cast feasted at Lucknow’s famous "Tunda Kababi."[7]
Anushka Sharma was a pro scooter rider (she has previously also driven a scooter with aplomb in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’) during an important scene, she drove with the DOP (who was holding an extremely heavy camera) sitting behind her. Her astute driving sense, allowed him to shoot a rear view mirror from the bike quickly and efficiently.[8]

YRF-Music has the music rights of Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl. Salim-Sulaiman composed the music and background score for the film while Amitabh Bhattacharya penned the lyrics for them. The first song is released by YRF on youtube entitled "Aadat Se Majboor"[9] [10]
The second song "Jazba"[11] is released by YRF which features Anushka Sharma.[12]
